Britney Spears has opened up about her troubled past and marriage to Kevin Federline in a new MTV documentary set to air November 30. The pop star admits that her 2-year marriage to Federline was a mistake.
“Instead of following my heart and doing what made me really happy, I just did it for the sake of the idea of everything,” Spears tells MTV in ‘Britney: For the Record.’
Spears and Federline were married in 2004. The singer gave birth to their first son, Sean Preston, in September 2005. A year later, she gave birth to son Jayden James. In November 2006, Spears filed for divorce from Federline.
