Kat Von D still thinks that society doesn't accept her tats!

I think the stigma will never go away. Outside of L.A., I’ve been followed around stores because they think I’m going to steal something. I feel like Julia Roberts in “Pretty Woman.” People are scared — they figure, “Oh, you’re tattooed and you’re a girl, you’re either a hooker or a drug addict.” I think our show killed a lot of that. I’ve tattooed 82-year-olds, pastors and soccer moms. It’s pretty awesome.”

Yeah Kat, no one gets tattoos outside of LA, you never see it. Until your show swooped in and saved the Universe, no one besides people as cool as you got tats. I don't know too many people anywhere that think that way anymore. Furthermore, just because you have tattoos and are a girl doesn't mean that you are a rockstar, even though you want to be. I do, however, dig the Slayer belt. Thanks.
