A Scandalous 'American Idol' Tell All Book!

A scandalous new book is out called "Stage 46: The Reality of Reality Television," it was written by journalists and bloggers and is being referred to as "the American Idol tell all book!" The book gives a behind the scenes look into drug abuse, sex scandals, money laundering, unfair employment practices, and daily verbal attacks from the executives of a top rated show.

According to a source, who is friends with two former Idol employees who were both interviewed last Jan/Feb for a planned book that was to be written about the behind the scenes workings of idol based on what employees and contestants witnessed. They were both told by the author during the interviews that everything in the book would be changed just enough so Idol would not be able to sue them, but the readers would know exactly what show the book is about.

It's called Stage 46: The Reality of Reality Television. People who have read it and reviewed it on amazon.com are referring to it as the Idol book as well. The author has stated in interviews that he interviewed several former employees and contestants of a top rated reality show.

I don't know for sure if this is the book that my source's friends were interviewed for, but chances are it is. The book is very scandalous and talks about the female judge's drug use and the contestant sex scandal she was involved in, how show contestants are exploited and lied to, and gives several examples of how the show could be fixed. Also the show in the book is called "Next Singing Star" and is the number one reality show on television. So you can see there are quite a few similarities.
