The 2009 SAG Award nominations were announced Thursday morning and among the nominees are Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, the late Heath Ledger, Sean Penn and Kate Winslet.
Angelina Jolie scored a nod for leading actress in ‘The Changeling.’ Brad Pitt was nominated for lead actor in ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.’
Also getting lead actress nominations is Kate Winslet for her roles in Revolutionary Road and The Reader. She was also nominated for best supporting actress.
The late Heath Ledger was nominated for best supporting actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight. He was recently nominated for a Golden Globe award for the role.
Also nominated are Sean Penn, Meryl Streep, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Viloa Davis.
