Beginning March 26, ABC television is booting "Ugly Betty" and replacing it with episodes of "Samantha Who?"
"Ugly Betty will return to Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. following the run of Samantha Who?" say a press release by the network.
In the latest Nielson overnight ratings, "Ugly Betty" fell to third place in its time-slot, behind "Bone's" on FOX and a "CSI" repeat on CBS. For the night of January 22, "Ugly Betty" only drew 7.5 million viewers, and a rating share of 2.4/7 in the 18-49 year old demographic.
