Colin Farrell Is Back On The Market

In case any of you ladies are in the market for a booze-soaked Irishman, Colin Farrell is back on the market. After a year-long relationship, Farrell and English writer Emma Forrest have split. The couple met through director Martin McDonaugh who directed In Bruges, a film that earned Farrell a Golden Globe. Forrest isn't too happy about the split and was mad Farrell did not recognize her at his award acceptance.

An insider told the publication that Emma felt slighted by her famous boyfriend when he failed to thank her during his Golden Globes speech last month. A source said: 'He would not introduce her to his family. She was also upset that he didn’t thank her at the Golden Globe Awards.' Novelist and journalist Emma was credited with being a stabilising influence in the actor's life.

I think this is like probably the longest relationship Farrell has had in his life. Well, other than his undying devotion to Jameson whiskey...but that doesn't really count.
