Freida Pinto Lands A Woody Allen Role

That was fast! "Slumdog Millionaire" star Freida Pinto has signed on to star alongside Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins and Josh Brolin in Woody Allen's latest upcoming film.

Pinto, who has become one of the most pursued thesps since her breakout performance in "Slumdog," signed with CAA in November and began mulling projects. Allen's film will mark the first post-"Slumdog" pic for the Indian-born model-turned-actress.

Hmmm... Slumdog, divorce, CAA, Oscars...Woody Allen. I smell a pattern here. I guess at least she ditched her husband pretty quick, a little better than milking him for 20 years.
