British actress Natasha Richardson, the daughter of actress Vanessa Rdegrave and wife of actor Liam Neeson, is in critical condition after suffering serious head injuries in a skiing accident in Montreal.
Richardson, 45, was hospitalized Monday afternoon after having an accident at Mont Tremblant in Quebec. She was taken to Centre Hospitalier Laurentien before being transferred to Hopital du Sacre-Coeur de Montreal.
Details of the accident and Richardson’s injuries were not revealed. Neeson, 56, left the Toronto set of his next movie ‘Chloe’ to be with his wife.
“Liam Neeson left the Toronto set immediately to fly to Montreal upon news of his wife’s accident. We do not have any details at this time but we hope for the best and our thoughts and prayers are with Natasha and Liam and their family,” a rep for the movie confirmed.
Neeson and Richardson have been married since 1994. They have two sons, 13-year-old Michael and 12-year-old Daniel. Richardson’s film credits include The Parent Trap alongside Lindsay Lohan, Maid in Manhattan alongside Jennifer Lopez and most recently Wild Child alongside Emma Watson.
