Jessica Simpson’s dad is allegedly urging her to dump boyfriend Tony Romo. Sources say Joe Simpson is convinced that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is too much of a distraction for his daughter.
“Joe now feels that Tony has become too much of a distraction for Jessica. Any free time she has, Jess wants to spend with Tony. But rather than blaming his daughter’s work ethic, Joe points the finger at Tony. He wants Tony out of her life, but Jessica loves him and won't even consider leaving him at this point,” claims an insider.
The source adds that Jessica is not listening to her father, and instead is trying to get Romo to settle down with her. “Her main concern is getting Tony to settle down and commit,” says the source, who adds that Simpson was to get married and start a family soon.
