So Katherine Heigl was slated to star in the upcoming 2011 romantic comedy "Valentine's Day," but was dropped because of her high salary demands.
"Producers at New Line originally had Katherine on their casting list. They wanted her for the project, but during the talks, she came back demanding $3 million for the role." Our source calls that number "ridiculous" because the movie has "an ensemble cast where there is really no one lead role. Actors are only filming between three and 14 days, and no other actors asked for nearly that amount."
Yeah - you're not worth that. Do you realize how many actors are looking for any paying work? And you think you are going to get $3 mil for 3-14 days. Riiiight. Maybe she's stuffing those cigs with PCP. The kicker is here is the rest of the cast: Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Shirley MacLaine and Bradley Cooper. And none of them are asking for as much as Katherine . . . and they can actually act!
