Kate Gosselin and her sextuplets spent the day by the sea on Bald Head Island, North Carolina, with bodyguard Steve Neild. They have been vacationing for more than a week without Kate's husband Jon.

Steve, whose closeness to Kate has sparked gossip in the media, spent most of the time standing well away from the family as they played. But the children kept running up to him, and the bodyguard showed his affection, hugging one of the girls and putting sunglasses on one of the boys.
