Lindsay Lohan has been questioned in the disappearance of a set of Dior diamond earrings and a necklace from her Elle photo shoot in London. The jewelry, worth $400,000, was on loan for the June 6 photo shoot. Lohan was the last person seen with them.
“We inquired and everyone from the shoot is being questioned. Hair, makeup, stylist…even photographers. Lindsay hopes they find the jewels. She is happy to cooperate,” Lohan’s rep says.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson confirms the jewels were reported missing June 8. “Westminster Police are investigating an allegation of theft of jewelry from studios in Brewery Road in Islington. The theft was reported to a central London police station on the eighth of June after earrings and a necklace, believed to be diamond and estimated to be worth $400,000, were found to be missing approximately two days earlier,” the spokesperson tells People.
