Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman may have spent time together before the reality star’s wife Kate Gosselin filed for divorce, but sources say their romance only began after the filing.
Glassman is the daughter of plastic surgeon Lawrence Glassman, who performed Kate’s tummy tuck in 2006. Despite being spotted out together before news of the divorce broke, a source says Jon and Hailey were not having an affair. Their relationship began after Kate filed for divorce on June 20.
According to the insider, Jon and Kate were way over before any kind of legalities were taken, and Jon didn't start dating until his marriage was really over.
According to the source. although the public did not know it, Jon and Kate actually split up late last year: "She said she wanted her life. She said she was done. It came out of the blue."
"Jon was heartbroken, totally heartbroken. Kate told him to take a hike."
Soon afterwards, Jon moved out of the couple's bedroom and slept elsewhere in the house and started going out to clubs and bars. And now that Jon has rented an apartment in New York City, says the source, expect to see Glassman and Gosselin spending time together in Manhattan.
