According to a search warrant served to the offices of Michael Jackson’s doctor, authorities are investigating whether Jackson's death was a case of manslaughter.
Drug Enforcement Administration agents, two LAPD homicide detectives and police officers searched the officers of Dr. Conrad Murray Wednesday morning.
“We reviewed the warrant and remained on the premises while the search was being executed. The search warrant authorized law enforcement to search for and seize items, including documents, they believed constituted evidence of the offense of manslaughter,” says Murray’s lawyer Ed Chernoff.
Murray was with Jackson last month when he died of an apparent cardiac arrest. He has denied any wrongdoing and says he is cooperating with authorities.
