Wah Wah Wah! Hollywood is so hard, blah, blah. Once again, Jessica Biel had some interview with the LA Times where she complained about how her looks have made it hard for her not to be typecast, yada yada.
"I want to be able to keep working until I'm 105 years old. I want the choice. It's difficult for women in general in entertainment. They peak earlier and the men peak at 30, 40. It's kind of scary. But you can't tell Meryl Streep she can't do a part. You can't say to Cate Blanchett 'I don't believe her in that.' They do anything they want because they have explored the range, which is endless for them. That's what I want."
Wow. Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep? That's like comparing Paris Hilton's singing voice to Aretha Franklin - not even close. Yeah, they keep getting parts because they can actually act, so they don't have to rely on looks. While you're at it Jess, if it's too hard you can send some auditions my way, I have several actress friends who are totally out of work, and they can actually act. What a loon!
