After many months of speculation, Tom Brady has finally confirmed his wife Gisele Bundchen is pregnant with their first child together. In an interview with ESPN’s Chris Berman, the New England Patriots quarterback reveals Bundchen is due to give birth in December. Brady says he and Bundchen are busy preparing for the baby’s birth by taking Lamaze classes.
“I told her no Sundays. It couldn’t be harder than training camp, so I’ll be prepared,” he jokes. The 32-year-old says he is happy to support Bundchen throughout the pregnancy, noting that “the women are the ones who have to do the work.” “We just have to be there to support them and so it’ll be nice to do that,” Brady adds.
The baby will be the first for Bundchen and the second for Brady, who has a 2-year-old son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
