Alex Rodriguez is ready to take his relationship with Kate Hudson to the next level; sources say the Yankees star is set to propose to the actress around New Year’s. Rodriguez is already preparing for the proposal. He has asked Hudson’s mother Goldie Hawn and stepfather Kurt Russell for their blessing.
“Alex called Goldie and asked if she and Kurt Russell would give their blessing to his asking Kate to marry him,” an insider reveals. “Alex is planning to do it around New Year’s.” Usually Kate goes away with her family to Aspen, and Alex thought it would be romantic to do it in front of a fireplace while snow was falling outside.”
Rodriguez, 34, and Hudson, 30, were recently spotted house hunting in Los Angeles.
