Celine Dion is not pregnant, according to her husband Rene Angelil. Dion’s doctor Zev Rosenwaks announced she was pregnant via in vitro fertilization in August. Rosenwaks said she was “very, very early in the pregnancy.”
Angelil now reveals the embryos transferred in August and October were not successful. “Dr. Zev Rosenwaks believed that the procedure/ pregnancy took, but that wasn’t the case. We found out some days later. We were shocked,” says Angelil.
“We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use [IVF]. The process can be long and arduous,” he said, adding they will continue to try for a second child. “Celine is more determined than ever,” he adds
Dion, 41, and Angelil, 67, conceived their 8-year-old son Rene Charles with the help of Rosenwaks.
