The woman taken from Tiger Woods’ Florida home by ambulance this morning was Barbro Holmberg, the mother of the golfer’s wife Elin Nordegren.
Paramedics were called to the home at 2:36 a.m. because Holmberg was experiencing shortness of breath and dizziness, according to a source at Health Central Hospital. Holmberg lives in Sweden and arrived in the U.S. a few days ago. She is reportedly back at home. Holmberg is staying in a private room and the family has hired additional security to keep the media away.
