Artie Lange, who helps Howard Stern host his radio show, was hospitalized earlier this week for attempting suicide. According to reports, Lange repeatedly stabbed himself 9 times in the chest.

A source told the New York Post that Lange was found his New Jersey apartment Saturday morning by his mother. Surgeons were able to save Lange, 42, despite severe bleeding.
