Taylor Lautner Lands Role As "Stretch Armstrong"

Looks like another Twihard has hit paydirt! 17-year-old Taylor Lautner has landed a role in the upcoming action hero movie Stretch Armstrong.

Based on the Hasbro action-figure toy, Taylor will be joining the cast of the new Universal Pictures flick, set to be released in 2012, as the beefed-up stretchable character.

“In the past two years, Taylor has emerged as a real star at the global box office. He brings the perfect balance of energy and athleticism to the role of an unlikely super hero with a fantastic super power. We couldn’t be more pleased that he has agreed to be our Stretch,” Donna Langley of Universal revealed to E! Online of Taylor’s new role.
