Looks like Katherine Heigl has snaked another role. Hasn't she done this a couple times already?
Katherine Heigl is attached to star in "One for the Money" for Columbia Pictures and Lakeshore Entertainment.
Heigl will play Stephanie Plum, an unemployed lingerie buyer who becomes a bounty hunter to make ends meet. Pic is based on the Janet Evanovich novel of the same name.
Reese Witherspoon was previously attached to take on the role, but the project has been dormant for several years. Heigl's interest has put the project back on the fast track, with Andrea Giannetti overseeing for the studio. Col and Lakeshore will next look to attach a director.
Damn - another bounty hunter movie? I swear every few months in Hollywood there are a bunch of similar-themed movies that come out in a slew. It's like they get one writer's good idea then farm it into 5 spin off movies.
