The Bachelor host Chris Harrison is speaking out about contestant Rozlyn Papa, who was kicked off the show for having an “inappropriate relationship” with an unnamed producer. Harrison is now firing back at the model for implying he flirted with the producer’s wife.
On Monday’s Women Tell All special, Harrison and the other contestants confront Papa about the alleged affair. Papa denied anything inappropriate happened and attacked Harrison after he said he was sad the producer was fired, as he and many others on the show considered the producer a friend. “That's news to him, especially when you were hitting on his wife in New Zealand. He thought that was crazy,” Papa said.
"I won't dignify that with a response," Harrison shot back.
Harrison now tells Entertainment Weekly he didn’t defend himself against the accusation because “that’s exactly what she would have wanted from me.”
“It was a desperate attempt by a very desperate woman to create a diversion and deflect the spotlight from herself….” Harrison adds. “Beyond the fact that it's just flat out not true, that comment was well beyond the line of decency and speaks volumes to the kind of person Rozlyn is. My wife, who I've been with since I was 18 and have been married to for over 16 years, was in the audience that night and got as big a laugh out of Rozlyn's comment as I did.”
