Lady Gaga Ex Suing her for $30 million

Songwriter and music producer Rob Fusari has filed a lawsuit against ex-girlfriend Lady Gaga. Fusari is suing Lady Gaga for $30.5 million, claiming they agreed he would receive 20 percent of song royalties and 15 percent of merchandising revenue.

Fusari alleges he began working with the singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, in March 2006 and “radically reshaped her approach” to a career in the music industry. In May 2006, the relationship became romantic. They continued to work together and agreed Fusari would receive 20 percent of profits. Fusari, who co-wrote several songs on her debut album The Fame, also says he suggested she use the stage name Lady Gaga and helped secure her record deal with Interscope Records. Soon after she shot to fame, Fusari says the romance ended.

Fusari claims he has received on $611,000 so far.
