British singer Lily Allen is being treated for the potentially lethal blood poisoning condition septicaemia.
"She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve," a rep for Allen, 25, told the U.K.'s Daily Mail after she was rushed to the hospital Friday evening. "Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."
This news is just 5 days following a miscarriage Allen suffered. She was six-months pregnant.
