After a rough few months David Arquette has checked into rehab.
The rep had "no further information," however a source says the actor needs help with alcohol and other issues.
"He is in there for drinking and depression, not hard drugs. Rehab was inevitable," says the source. "He is dealing with a broken heart. He can't handle all the changes in his life. All his inner demons came out."
On an appearance on the Howard Stern Show in December, Arquette, 39, admitted to drinking heavily after his October split from Cox, his wife of 11 years.
"I've been drinking a lot because I'm heartbroken. It's really a personal, traumatic thing. Everybody is worried and concerned about me," he said.
