Kate "Hot As Sh*t" Beckinsale will be playing the lead in a new remake of the 1990 "Total Recall", in which Sharon Stone played the original opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger.
'Lori' is the wife of 'Doug Quaid', played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first film. She is also the girlfriend of 'Richter', the ruthless deputy from Mars. The Irish actor Colin Farrell has already been cast in the Schwarzenegger role, while Eva Mendes and Rosario Dawson will battle it out to land the role of the freedom fighter 'Melina', originally played by Rachel Ticotin. 'Seinfeld' star Bryan Cranson will play the movie's main villain 'Vilos Cohaagen'. Beckinsale will first star in the action movie 'Contraband', a remake of the Icelandic film 'Reykjavik-Rotterdam', with Mark Wahlberg. The actress left her boyfriend Michael Sheen for the director Wiseman while she was shooting 'Underworld' in 2002. The couple became engaged in June 2003 and were married in Bel-Air, California, one year later.
I totally think it would be awesome to see Stone & Schwarzenegger back in action complete with 9 pounds of makeup and a ton of plastic surgery! A classic's a classic!
