Bachelor winner Vienna Girardi has revealed she went under the knife earlier this month. Girardi, who was previously engaged to Bachelor star Jake Pavelka, tells Us Weekly magazine she got a nose job on July 15 because she was not pleased with what she saw in the mirror.
"Sometimes our beauty is seen differently from within ourselves than what reflects in society's mirror. I went through life questioning myself in the mirror, but my reflection smiles now...If it makes you feel better about yourself, then I say do it,” she tells Us.
"It has only been a few days since my surgery and I'm in a ton of pain but the excitement of seeing my new nose soon is keeping me in good spirits," Girardi says, adding that boyfriend Kasey Kahl is helping her recover.
Girardi also Tweeted about her surgery, which was performed by Dr. Franklin Rose – the dad of Bachelor alum Erica Rose. "I want my surgery to be looked at as positive reflection of how I feel,” she wrote. “If it makes you feel better about yourself then DO IT. Xoxo.”
Pavelka, Girardi, Kahl and Rose can all be seen on the upcoming season of The Bachelor Pad, which is set to premiere on August 8.
