Just in time for Christmas, PETA released its “Celebrity Grinches of 2011” list, and Ms. Jackson is at the top. On their website, PETA took a few cheap shots at Jackson referencing her infamous wardrobe malfunction during Super Bowl, “stolen animal skins,” her “dead…taste in fashion (not to mention her career),” and called her “just plain nasty.”
This comes just over a month after Blackglama announced that they were releasing the “Janet Jackson Blackglama collection” which promises to be a “line of luxe fur outerwear and accessories.” Despite online protests and campaigns to stop the line, Jackson and Blackglama released it anyway.
Jackson is not alone on the Grinch List. Both Cameron Crowe and Kim Kardashian were included. PETA made their own Christmas Wish, “hoping that the hearts of this terrible trio grow three sizes this holiday season and that we can start the new year off (animal) right(s)!”
