If you're a man on the prowl for a wife reality-TV "star" then look no further - Emily Maynard is the new Bachelorette!
The North Carolina single mom -- who was famously proposed to by Brad Womack on ABC's The Bachelor in March 2011 -- is ready to move on after their nasty split, and will search for love again as the network's newest Bachelorette, multiple sources confirm in the new Us Weekly.
Maynard, 25, has signed on for the show's eighth season, and will start filming in March. It was a "change of heart" for Maynard after months of playing hard-to-get with ABC, a Maynard pal tells Us. "She's looking for a man -- not a little boy."
Ahh - and by "man" you mean a dude who has sold his soul to reality TV, who's willing to do anything to be on TV for five minutes. That's how you spell true love. Anyways, insiders are revealing that the show may be shooting in Charlotte, NC where Maynard lives - changing up the usual repertoire of the the show where cast mates bunk together in a LA mansion.
