Jean Paul Gaultier Has Amy Winehouse Look-alike in Runway Show

Fashion Designer Jean Paul Gaultier had an Amy Winehouse look-alike walk in his runway show during Paris Fashion Week, but not everyone finds the tribute as a compliment.
“The family was upset to see those pictures,” Mitch Winehouse told The Sun of Gaultier’s show, which commemorated the late singer. “We’re still grieving for her loss, and we’ve had a difficult week with the six-month anniversary of Amy’s death.
“It portrays a view of Amy when she was not at her best, and glamorizes some of the more upsetting times in her life,” he continues. (The collection heavily references Winehouse’s disheveled aesthetic, reckless attitude and penchant for smoking.)
But Gaultier stands by his intentions: “She was an icon of fashion and truly, the sense of how she mixed the clothes — it was great,” he said after Wednesday’s show. “It is very joyous.”
Perhaps it's a little too soon but Amy will always be remembered for her "not at her best" moments even though everyone knows she was incredibly talented and I think this really was a tribute.

Coroner: Amy Winehouse Died After Drinking Too Much Alcohol

The July 22 passing of Amy Winehouse was ruled "death by misadventure" by British coroner Suzanne Greenaway on Wednesday. Winehouse, 27, died as a result of drinking too much alcohol, Greenaway said.
"She had consumed sufficient alcohol... and the unintended consequence of such potentially fatal levels was her sudden and unexpected death," Greenaway said.
A pathologist reported that an autopsy performed on the "Rehab" singer revealed that her blood-alcohol level (416mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood) was 4.5 times over the legal drunk-driving limit.
Her family -- parents Mitch and Janis and borther Alex -- were in attendance when the toxicology results were announced.

Amy Winehouse Toxicology Report

The toxicology report on Amy Winehouse was released today and apparently no illegal drugs were found in the soul-singer's system. There was, however, alcohol in her system but no drugs.
Now we have to wait until Oct 26 when an "inquest verdict" is officially released stating the official cause of death.
