Stars Split on Madonna’s SuperBowl Halftime Performance

Stars Split on Madonna’s SuperBowl Halftime Performance

Just to tell you, Madonna is already 53 years old and except for the singing which can be done while lip synching the dance routines and stage performance cannot be aided by technology especially one that is broadcasted live on the most watched event in American sports.

It is amazing that the “material girl” can still strut her stuff live and put on a show, but no matter how amazed I am it will still be the stars opinions that matters and they are split on it.

Some of the stars like Alec Baldwin who tweeted, "Two quarters of SuperBowl and the strongest performer is Madonna.”

The reality star and singer Kelly Osborne quipped, "Nothing I have watching musically has made my heart pump with so much joy then Madonna's performance #thesuperbowl f**king amazing!"

And there are stars like Cheryl Burke who tweeted, “"Wasn't impressed with Madonna at all! I expected more..."

A lot of fans are split as well, but nonetheless Madonna still wins, because at 53 years old aided with an incredible production she can still put on a show!

Joe Francis of "Girls Gone Wild" Sends A Warning for Madonna

Joe Francis of "Girls Gone Wild" Sends A Warning for Madonna

Looks like Madonna is not making friends lately.

After Sir Elton John’s hubby David Furnish blasted her as a “desperate narcissist,” another person came into the fray to try to say something not nice to the material girl.

It is none other than the person who popularize “Girls Gone Wild,” or let us say made it a famous brand of girl’s videos in a state of undress, Joe Francis.

Madonna is set to perform in the Super Bowl spectacle and Joe Francis is making it sure that Madge will not be singing one of her songs that is coincidentally titled, Girls Gone Wild.

Joe’s lawyers already sent a cease and desist letter to Madonna, NBC and to the NFL that Joe labeled as “co-conspirators.”

I am not sure where this will end up or if this will affect what songs will make the cut for the Super Bowl half-time show, but Madge having been known to pushed boundaries in her career, I am not too sure that Madonna is taking this seriously at all.

Then again, stay tuned!

Madonna Is Humble

Madonna Is Humble

Madonna is lately mostly know for being batsh*t crazy, but don't let that fool you - she's still a completely egomaniac.

Touring has become the bulk of Madonna’s business (the last tour grossed $408 million, the most ever for a solo artist) since the music industry went belly up and consumers stopped buying records. She’s not ready to talk about specific plans for this go-round, but it’s safe to assume that her ticket prices will continue to be astronomically expensive, Great Recession be damned. “So start saving your pennies now,” she says, sounding annoyed that any-one would suggest these prices are prohibitive. “People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together, and come to my show. I’m worth it.”

Umm, you maybe used to be worth it? Maybe. And besides, handbags help a girl carry her personals, get laid and look good while doing it. All Madonna will leave you with is a headache, a pain in your anal region and you wondering "is she British?" Oh yeah, and she went on to talk about how cool New York was before all the rich people took it over.

Madonna is Nervous About Her Super Bowl Performance

Madonna is Nervous About Her Super Bowl Performance

Apparently performing on millions of stages, large and small, across the world doesn't get Madonna nervous but the Super Bowl does. The singer opened up about her anxiety preparing for the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 5).

Oh my god, I'm so nervous. You have no idea," the superstar told Anderson Cooper in an interview to air on his talk show Thursday.

"First of all, it's the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is kind of like the holiest of holy in America," Madonna, 53, said. "I'm going to come in halfway between the church experience and I'm going to have to deliver a sermon that's going to have to be very impactful."

She also put it this way: "I have to put on the greatest show on earth in the middle of the greatest show on earth."

I'm sure it will be a great performance anyway! Check out the video at the link below from her interview with Anderson Cooper.

Madonna Takes the Gloves Off

Madonna Takes the Gloves Off

On the eve of yet another rebirth of her career, Madge continues to set the stage up perfectly. Not only is she set to perform for this year’s Super Bowl, and “leaked” a clip of a single online, but she is finally addressing the feud between her and Lady Gaga. In true Madonna-like fashion, she maintained her composure, even when throwing blows:
“I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it’s amusing and flattering and well done.”

She went on to say “There’s a lot of ways to look at it. I can’t really be annoyed by it …because, obviously, I’ve influenced her.”

“Born This Way” was clearly a touchy subject for the Material Girl who stated, “When I heard it on the radio …I said that sounds very familiar.”

And the hits keep coming. Madonna calls Gaga’s work “reductive.” Cynthia McFadden would be wise to come better prepared next time as Madonna coldly told her to “Look it up” when she didn’t know whether or not that was a bad thing.

One would hope that Madonna could appreciate the homage that Gaga pays to the icon, and remember that she should flattered that she’s still relevant for something more than dating 24 year olds.

Madonna Confirmed Appearance at The XLVI Superbowl

Madonna Confirmed Appearance at The XLVI Superbowl

It's time for Madonna to come back after so long, and the pop star has confirmed to perform during the halftime at the Super Bowl XLVI. According to a joint statement by the NFL and NBC which will air the game, Madonna's performance will also include a spectacular act by Cirque du Soleil and Jamie King.

The game will take place February 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Madonna will also be releasing her first album since her last one "Hard Candy" (2008). I also heard that in this album she also features rapper Nicki Minaj. That oughta be interesting.

Her Madgesty will join a list of musical stars that have graced the Super Bowl stage, including U2, Prince, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, The Rolling Stones, Janet Jackson (famous for her legendary nip slip) and many more.
