Nick Cannon Hospitalized for Mild Kidney Failure
Nick Cannon is starting his new year off in the hospital. The "America's Got Talent" host was admitted into a hospital in Aspen, Colorado while on vacation with his wife, Mariah Carey and their twins. Diagnosed with mild kidney failure, Nick isn't letting the hospital stay get him down.
"As always, he's in good spirits considering the situation," his wife Mariah Carey, who accompanied him to the hospital in Aspen, tells PEOPLE exclusively.
"We are hopeful that he'll be 100 percent as soon as possible," she adds. "We really appreciate everybody's love and support."
Cannon Tweeted later Wednesday that he is "being transferred to a hospital in L.A. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me ... I will be a'ight." e
Hopefully Nick will make a speedy recovery. Get well soon.

Stevie Wonder will receive the recognition in musical arts category and Mariah Carey will be honored with the 'Best Entertainer' award.
Aside from musicians, BET also honors poet Maya Angelou for her literary arts achievements and also filmmaker Spike Lee for his extraordinary work.
Gabrielle Union will host the ceremony which will take place at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. on January 14.

Mariah gave birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe back in April and told the magazine that during her pregnancy, she “gained an enormous amount of weight.”

Beginning in July, Carey buckled down with a nutritionist and a workout plan keeping to a 1,500-calorie-a-day menu and thrice-weekly workouts.
"I feel incredible, I'm proud of how hard I worked to get my body back...I had to do this for me."
