Solange Looks Picture Perfect with Next Models Management
Beyonce and Jay-Z may be getting all of the attention with the birth of little miss Blue Ivy, but Solange, Beyonce’s younger sister, is making moves in all of the right directions. The mommy of one, and new auntie has signed with the world-renowned Next Models Management, and released the following statement:
"Artistic expression is invaluable to me in all walks of my career and I am so excited to continue to develop this path along with such an amazing team at Next Model Management. I feel right at home working with people who have worked beside such creative forces in the world."
Solange has modeled for a handful of designers prior to landing this gig, including Armani, House of Dereon, Rimmel.
With this major step, it looks like Solange might step out of big sis’s shadow after all.
Solange Knowles Walks in Runway Show
Beyonce's little sister, Solange Knowles, is showing off her good looks. The actress, singer and dancer was spotted walking the runway for designer Alberta Ferretti's demi-couture line at Milan Fashion Week in Italy on Friday (January 13).
These days, Solange is focusing on spending some time with her new niece, Blue Ivy Carter.

Beyonce and her younger sister, Solange Knowles, were spotted attending the Vera Wang fashion show in NYC today. The sisters spent plenty of quality time together as they walked into the show together. Beyonce wore a short gold sequence dress, resembling a tutu that highlighted her baby bump.
Solange Knowles Hates Miami Police
Beyonce may have announced she's pregnant, but not everyone in her family is celebrating.
Solange Knowles took to her twitter to voice her anger toward Miami police: "I have literally had my last leg with discriminating police! Miami police department will be notified. A police officer just pulled a weapon on me.... I have done NOTHING illegal, against the law, or anything of the sort."
Solange then added: "I am simply tired of police using arrogance, ego and authority as an offense. I'm only tweeting this to raise awareness. I could have left quietly, but I am sick & tired of this scenario being played over & over again. I'm ok. I'm safe & sound at my apartment. I'm just beyond frustrated with the system. Been on the phone for the last 20 minutes reporting this incident. Yes, I have the officers name. Yes, I have the location. Scare tactics don't WORK."
I guess discrimination still exists in the South.

Solange Knowles passed out last week at LAX, apparently from dehydration. She gave a little detailed log on her twitter site:
