Usher Fights Back
I guess it is a little too late to say “I told you so” to Usher who is now firing back at his ex-wife’s claims about him being a bad father. Tameka Raymond, 40, who currently shares joint physical custody of their two children with singer/songwriter Usher, 33, filed for sole custody at the end of last year. According to TMZ, she alleges that he is a bad father who cancelled her SAKS 5th Ave. card. Her other grievances include Usher “failing to get her permission to travel with their kids [and] hiring nannies without her approval,” and demands that the court have him drug tested to support her claims.
This latest round of bickering is an unfortunate addition to their already turbulent history. Usher, who previously spoke about fatherhood in an interview with Essence magazine said “Being a father means everything in life as an African-American man because there is a great sense of departure specifically for us…and a lot of the things that took place helped to tear down the Black man [so he would] not really understand or take ownership of being a father and the stronghold in the Black family.”
This proud papa seems pretty fed up with his ex-wife, but for the sake of their boys maybe they both should consider limiting their squabbles to relevant information, and attempt to keep their personal feelings about each other to themselves.

Tameka’s attorney Randy Kessler tells RadarOnline.com exclusively, “Ms. Raymond has not seen the alleged video and had no knowledge that such a video existed. She is certainly unhappy about it. There is no further comment at this time.”
The alleged sex tape is reportedly being shopped around to various media outlets with claims that the images are indeed of Usher and Tameka.
