Angelina Jolie Bought Brad Pitt a Waterfall

Angelina Jolie Bought Brad Pitt a Waterfall

If you think an expensive car or jewelry is a unique gift, then think again. For Christmas this year, Angelina Jolie bought longtime partner and father of her six children, a waterfall in California.

Pitt, who has six children with Jolie, is planning to build a house over the waterfall inspired by his favorite American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.

"Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house," a source tells the site. "He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept."

"Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect," a source tells The Daily Mail. "This is the present to top all presents."

I thought getting a star named after me by my friends was a unique gift, I'll have to up the "Christmas List" next year.

Angelina Jolie's Q&A with Interview Magazine

Angelina Jolie's Q&A with Interview Magazine

Angelina Jolie and Clint Eastwood sat down for a question and answer session with Interview Magazine, where the actress was promoting her directorial debut, with the seasoned director by her side.

During the course of their chat, the 36-year-old actress dished about topics including how she wrote the Bosnian war-based picture from scratch, as well as deciding to try her hand as director and what her life/career has in store next.

Highlights from Angelina and Clint's conversation are as follows. Meanwhile, the in-depth dialogue in its entirety can be found by visiting Interview!

On writing the story for "In the Land of Blood and Honey" from scratch:
"You know, it was one of those funny things. I didn't intend to write anything and I never wanted to direct anything. I didn't even have Final Draft. I was just kind of messing around one day on my computer for fun. I had a lot of thoughts about intervention and justice issues and humanity, and I'd spent a lot of time with people after conflict. So it was kind of a meditation for me: What if it was me and I loved somebody from what became the other side? What would it take for me to go against my neighbor? Would I?"

On when she decided she was going to direct the film:
"I had the crazy thought of directing it, and I kind of just couldn't accept that. I never believed that I was the right person technically, but I couldn't trust it away from me emotionally, so I ended up saying, "All right, we'll send it to a few people from the area, and if they think it's terrible we'll shred it. But if they're willing to make it with me, then maybe there's some truth to it and they can help me do it and it won't be wrong." And then I was with Bernie [David Bernstein, first assistant director] when he started talking about the schedule, and I put my head in my hands. I think I didn't know how I'd gotten there."

Angelina Jolie Wants More Kids

It's not a big secret that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have often said they plan on having enough kids to start their own soccer team, but it seems after six kids together, the couple is still interested in expanding their family. In an interview for the January 2012 cover of Marie Claire, the actress opens up about their future plans.

"Nothing planned at the moment, but we just don't know. I could end up pregnant."

..."[Brad] has expanded my life in ways I never imagined," she tells Marie Claire. "We built a family. He is not just the love my life, he is my family. I hold that very dear."

Angelina Jolie Sued by Croatian Journalist

Angelina Jolie Sued by Croatian Journalist

Hollywood royalty, Angelina Jolie, might not be seen much lately as she was busy working on her upcoming movie: "In the Land of Blood and Honey". The movie is a fictionalized story of a Serbian soldier who falls in love with a Bosnian Muslim woman during the Bosnian war.

The story turns out to be a non-fiction, an article written by a Croatian journalist Joseph J. Braddock or Josip J. Knezevic. He claimed that he wrote the article in 2007 and that now Jolie is using the article as the basis of her movie.

The allegation stated:

"The Subject Work’s main female character is subject to continuous abuse and rape by soldiers and officers in the camp. In addition to being raped continuously by soldiers and officers, she is forced to become a servant at the camp headquarters, a duty assumed by very few of the captives. The Motion Picture’s main female character is also subject to continuous rape by soldiers and officers in the camp and subsequently becomes a servant at camp headquarters."

There's no word about how much the journalist is asking Jolie for the lawsuit. From where I'm sitting, what's a million dollars or two for Jolie? Like it's going to have a huge impact on the Jolie-Pitt household anyway. Shut the man up and get on with the project, Angie!

In The Land of Blood and Honey will premiere December 23rd.
